Jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi began plotting NCP leader Baba Siddique's murder within 10 days of the firing incident outside actor Salman Khan's Galaxy Apartment in April this year. The NCP leader was fatally shot outside his MLA son Zeeshan Siddique's office in Mumbai's Bandra area on October 12.

After the firing incident outside Salman Khan’s residence, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang had allegedly planned to target people close to the actor. Baba Siddique had reportedly emerged as a prime target.

Punjab Police said the arrested accused, Akash Gill, was providing logistical support to Baba Siddique's shooters. He has been handed over to Mumbai Police for further investigation.

The arrested accused is an associate of Lawrence Bishnoi Gang and was providing logistical assistance to the shooters involved in the murder of the NCP leader.
