The Minnesota Golden Gophers (3-1) rallied in the second half to defeat the Yale Bulldogs (2-3), 59-56, earning their third win of the season. Dawson Garcia scored 19 of his 24 points in the second half to lead the Gophers in scoring, and Brennan Rigsby added 15 points to help the Gophers come back from a 10-point deficit at halftime.

Dawson Garcia scored 24 points and Brennan Rigsby scored 15 points and Minnesota managed to survive Yale for a 59-56 win. Minnesota has won three of its first four games for the third straight year. John Poulakidas scored 21 points and reserve Isaac Celiscar 11 for Yale.

The Gophers men's basketball team has been in need of some secondary scoring outside of star big man Dawson Garcia, and they got exactly what they needed in Saturday's 59-56 win over Yale at Williams Arena in Minneapolis.
