A woman shot in an apparent jewelry store robbery in south Sacramento late Friday morning has died, the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office confirms. According to a Sergeant Amar Gandhi, deputies responded just before noon to a jewelry store near Stockton Boulevard and 65th Street in the Little Vietnam Plaza.

A woman at a Sacramento jewelry store was shot and killed during an armed robbery, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office. Around 11:45 a.m. on Friday, SCSO responded to Kim Tin Jewelers after a group of five to six people stormed into the store with crowbars and other items.
